Organized 11 years, and counting, of marquee panel discussions with major Industry players including Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA winners along with international pitch & script competitions, networking events, and year-round development initiatives connecting the local Industry with the global entertainment community.
Hialeah Park Studios
A two year strategic consultancy to transform an historic Miami venue sitting on almost 200 acres into a vibrant entertainment and production hub. During this time, multiple feature films, television series, and over a dozen music videos and commercials including a global campaign for Hasbro’s NERF as well as a music video featuring Natti Natasha (the number one female artists on YouTube). In addition, a series of live events including The Survivors Concert benefit and a cabaret show featuring Emmy Award winning writer and entertainer Luis Santeiro were both major successes.
Connect Cuba Campaign
Working with the Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba (FHRC), led a team to create, brand, launch, market and promote an ambitious media campaign to bring awareness, and ultimately more open internet access directly to the Cuban people. The campaign had a global reach and impact, even reaching the cover of Time Magazine.
Survivors Concert
Consulted and Produced The 1st Annual Survivor’s Concert, benefiting the ML Cars for a Cure Foundation and The University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Some of Freestyle’s top acts performed from Erotic Exotic, Coro, Angel-A Love (formerly of TKA), and headlined by the legendary Lime. The show also featured local band Mantrap. The bands played incredible sets to a full house, all in good spirits, celebrating the brave survivors who have overcome hard battles on the road to recovery. In addition, a documentary was produced, led by high school students from the mass communication program at The City of Hialeah Educational Academy (COHEA), with additional support from the Digital Media Academy at Westland Hialeah Senior High.
Miami Rocks Our Troops
Miami Rocks Our Troops was a benefit concert hosted at the University of Miami’s Watsco (formerly Bank United) Center. The event raised much needed funding and awareness for U.S. Veterans and their families adjusting to life after service. The concert featured international music stars from Billy Ray Cyrus and Billy Gibbons to Jon Secada and Jose Feliciano. A TV documentary was also made to further awareness and the cause for helping Veterans.
